| Objectives:
The primary objective of NIPWG is to develop and maintain guidance, resolutions and specifications in order to provide shipboard users the necessary and up-to-date information in a timely manner to allow for the planning of a safe route for the intended voyage and the safeguarding of the ship’s navigation throughout the voyage.

Objectifs :
Le principal objectif du NIPWG est de développer et tenir à jour les directives, les résolutions et les spécifications en vue de fournir aux utilisateurs à bord les informations nécessaires et à jour, en temps voulu pour permettre la planification d’une route sûre pour le voyage prévu et la sécurité de la navigation tout au long du voyage.

| Meetings:
NIPWG work by correspondence, teleconferences, group meetings, workshops or symposia. The WG meet about once a year.

Le GT travaille par correspondance, téléconférences, réunions de groupe, ateliers ou symposiums. Le GT se réunit environ une fois par an.

NIPWG comprises representatives of IHO Member States, Expert Contributors and Observers from International Organizations. See the list of Members.
