Seminar on
MARINE SPATIAL DATA INFRASTRUCTURES
Havana, Cuba, 9 February 2009

In the frame of GEOMATICA 2009, a Marine SDI Seminar was held on 9 February, jointly organised by the IHB and the Cuban HO and chaired by Capt WARD, IHB Director. The Seminar aimed at promoting the concept of Marine Spatial Data Infrastructures in Latin America and the Caribbean region, and underpinning the development of best practice in the creation of marine components of National Spatial Data Infrastructures (NSDI). It addressed the various aspects of marine SDIs, including global, regional and national initiatives, and land-sea data integration issues.

All presentations given at the seminar are provided below as PDF files.
